The Green Schools Committee is part of a nationwide effort to greatly improve the physical learning environment of kids across the United States. Green schools offer healthier indoor air, better lighting, and improved thermal comfort for students, as well as reduced operating costs for administrators and taxpayers. The Green Schools Committee works with school districts, local and state governments, and parent/teacher organizations to develop beneficial partnerships and further green schools initiatives in Oklahoma. Our goal is to place every Oklahoma student in a green school within this generation.
